About us at Wilden Michel
A home for wild minds - big & small, young & old.
That's how it all started
In times of great change, a little courage, a portion of heart and soul and a pinch of passion are needed. Seasoned with plenty of entrepreneurship and the will to make a difference, these are the ingredients with which you can determine your own future.
The above lines marked the beginning of our leaflet, which we have been printing since 2019, distributing online, making available to music clubs and neglecting no other opportunity to spread our search to the world.
We are Urs, Ute and Oskar Fischbach. A young family who asked themselves how they wanted to spend their future lives. More together, more outdoors, more self-determined. When we joined the camper community in 2019, it quickly became clear that we wanted a campsite! But a special one, of course. Preferably with an old farm or an old mill. It should be rustic and have enough space for a few holiday apartments and our new home. So the search began.
We were quickly able to win over Anikó, who was more of a sister and another family member than just a very good friend. We didn't actually have to win her over. "If you do that, I'll be hanging out with you all the time anyway. Then I might as well move in right away" was her exact words. What could be better than moving back under the same roof with your lifelong comrade-in-arms, party partner and ever-loyal friend?! And then there were three of us.
“What are you planning to do?” Rudi and Moni, Ute’s parents, asked us. “That sounds wonderful.” They quickly said they were going to join in. At first we couldn’t quite believe it. But when the first conversations got deeper, it was clear that they were serious! How wonderful for us. And especially for Oskar. Mom, dad, aunt, grandma and grandpa under one roof with a common task. Creating a new, shared home.
Meanwhile, eight more residents have moved in, all of whom are actively involved, get up to silly things now and then and fill the yard with life. When everyone sits together at the table, things get pretty lively - we are now not just roommates, but more like an extended family.
